About the event

Parents! Do your youth display any of the following?

  • Being uncomfortable around people
  • Difficulty in having a normal conversation even with people they are familiar with
  • Speaking softly, mumbling, or stuttering over their words.
  • Being embarrassed after a brief interaction with people
  • Self-criticism after having an interaction with people
  • Difficulty in making and sustaining friendships
  • Avoiding public and social interactions like parties

These may be symptoms of social anxiety. These behaviours may lead to missing out on opportunities, loneliness, poor grades, and low self-esteem. Youth today have experienced much adversity in their short lives with the exposure to technology, a global pandemic, and a lot less outdoor and free-play time... they could use a little support.

In this 4-week series, we will provide a safe and gentle space where we help youth find peace through art and group connection. In each 90 min event, we encourage expression, empathy, resilience, and acceptance of self for we know a self-accepting youth of today is a happier, healthier, more confident, and successful adult of tomorrow.  Investment is $240 (tx incl) and group size is limited to 4 to ensure depth of experience.

Light snacks and all materials are included. Please email for information or to register.
