About Me

I am a member of the Algonquins of Pikwakanagan First Nation, a facilitator, speaker, coach, and creative guide whose spirit name, Waazakone — “it glows, it gives off light” — reflects the energy I bring to my work. I help others see and embrace the light within themselves.
I facilitate leadership workshops and expressive arts programs that support confidence, communication, cultural reconnection, and emerging leadership. Like many Indigenous people, I grew up in a challenging environment where I was disconnected from family and culture and often told I was “too much.” At 17, I made the decision to live life on my own terms and become the best version of myself I could be. More than 30 years later, that journey continues. Through ongoing healing, learning, and reconnection to my identity and culture, I have reclaimed my voice and sense of purpose. Today, I weave these lived experiences into my work, creating spaces where others can remember who they are, reconnect with where they come from, and grow into who they are meant to be. My background includes training in Human Resources Management, Organizational Learning & Development, Coaching, and Emotion Code, a holistic healing modality. I have led initiatives across nonprofit, corporate, and grassroots spaces, bringing people together through creativity, storytelling, and leadership development. I believe we all carry gifts, wisdom, and light within us. My work is about helping people remember who they are, reconnect with their purpose, and move forward with greater confidence, courage, and trust in themselves. |

I believe there are no coincidences. We are here at this time, in this moment of profound change, for a reason. We are not just witnesses to the unraveling of old systems—we are part of the emergence of something new.
I believe leadership is not about power—it’s about purpose. True leadership isn’t found in titles, hierarchies, or hustle. It’s rooted in authenticity, intuition, and heart-centered action. I believe that we all carry unique gifts meant to serve both our own evolution and the collective shift of the world. When we embrace who we truly are, we not only transform our own lives but also contribute to the greater healing and awakening of humanity. I believe in leading differently. The world is starving for new ideas, new perspectives, and new ways of being. I believe the next generation of leaders will rise not from the old systems, but from those who dare to create new ones. I believe that we are meant to live in harmony—with ourselves, with each other, and with the Earth. When we reconnect with our true nature, we remember that we are not separate from the world around us—we are part of its unfolding story. I believe that transformation begins within.
