A Guide in the Dark.

I have been on a healing journey for 30+ years. When I began the journey I was motivated by a very tumultuous childhood that found me in deep realization of what I wanted and wouldn't tolerate in my life and how I wanted a life that didn't include chaos, suffering, going through the motions or mere survival.

I saw my first counsellor at 18 years old and this is when my healing journey began. At the time I thought my willingness to heal and grow beyond my immature parents was about the relationship I was in. What I didn't realize was that the counselling was me choosing a better life. It was about intergenerational healing. It was about honoring my ancestors and the next seven generations. It was about breaking cycles of dysfunction and it was about unlearning every unloving thought and belief I had about myself and instead remembering the beautiful, perfect, divinity within.

Inspired by Nature is a culmination of all the things I've done and the seasons I have experienced. It is about creating a sacred and loving space. It is about sharing my calm and loving presence with others. It is about sharing art as medicine. It's about demystifying the definition of art and making art accessible to all - especially those who are afraid or resistant to create. It's about unique programs and offerings. It's about sharing circles and space for reflection, coaching, and helping people open up to their own magnificence. It's about empowerment, love-filled, and fulfilling work. And with 1 in 4 Canadians now identifying as having anxiety, depression or PTSD, opportunities for daily expression through art and creativity are more important than ever.

Through my coaching programs at www.heathercabral.com and Inspired by Nature, I desire to help individuals, teams and organizations to come back to their true nature where they feel excited and at peace everyday. Where they realize their life is a culmination of their thoughts, words, and choices. Where they see every obstacle as a learning opportunity and lovingly seek the lesson and blessing in each and where they invite compassion and understanding in realizing that we're all doing the best that we can.

Through my work, I want to be a guide in the dark. A guide that helps us remember our light within. A guide who changes the world with art.
